1) Vocabulary: Be able to read and spell the words and use the words:
.balloon/balloons, candle/candles, present/presents, cookie/cookies, fly, read, sing,draw,swim,cook,cake,noodles,icecream,bread,rice,milk,soccer,baseball,football,
tennis,basketball,ping-pong.
Target language:
a. Be able to understand and use the following expression properly:
A: How old are you? A: Can you….?
B: I’m …. B: Yes, I can./No, I can’’t.
A: What do you like? A: Do you like……?
B:I like…… B: I like…….
3) Function: Be able to talk about ages,ability,expressing likes and dislikes.
2. Moral and Strategy Objectives:
To talk about yourself use the sentences.

To have Ss to understand the new words in the vocabulary.

To have Ss read and spell the new words in the vocabulary.

Ⅰ Warm up
Talk about the students use the sentences, 了解学生的基本情况,复习已学过的句子。
Ⅱ Review
1. Lead in. Show the PPT. Let the students read and spell the new words in vocabulary..
2. Sing the songs. Sing the songs about unit 5-8.
3. Review the sentences in Unit 5-8.
(1)Let the students make a dialogue use the sentences in unit 5-8.
A: Hello,xxx. B: Hi,Miss Wu.
A:How are you? B: I’m fine,thanks.
A: How old are you?B: I’m nine.
A:Can you…?B: Yes, I can./No, I can’t.
A: I like bread. What do you like?B: I like….
A: I like soccer. Do you like soccer? B:Yes, I do./No,I don’t. I like….

(4) Talk about yourself.
For example:

通过用看图拼读的形式,引起学生的学习兴趣,让学生进入学习的好状态,同时复习了单词和字母。
通过让学生唱歌,即提高了学生的学习兴趣 同时也复习了5-8课的Target.整个复习过程都贯穿在这几首歌当中,学生学起来很积极,很有兴趣。
通过用Unit5-8的句型用自己的话介绍自己这个活动,即巩固了所学的句型,又锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。
通过小组活动让每个学生都有机会参与,让每个学生都有机会说英语。
通过表演让学生在情境中学会运用所学句型。真正达到学以致用的目的。

2. Look , choose and write.
在复习单词后,通过听力训练达到学以致用的效果。
让学生看图和看单词后然后再把该单词找出来填在相应的句子上,这样即复习了单词和句型又简单地进行了阅读训练的目的。
