My summer vacation is the best time of the year. There is no school for months and I get to do what I want. With no tests and no homework, I'm as free as a bird.

I do many things during the summer vacation. I relax by reading books and watching TV. I also hang out with my friends or travel with my family. However, I don't only play in summer. I spend my free time to learning more. For example, last summer I learned to swim. This summer I might study computers or English. Summer vacation flies by fast, so it's important to do as much as you can.

夏季是一年中最好的时光。（几个）月不用去学校并且我可以做自己想做的事。没有考试、没有作业，我自由地像只小鸟。暑假期间，我可以做很多事。我通过阅读与看电视放松自己。我也常常与朋友一起打发时间或者与家人一起去旅游。可是，暑假期间，我并不只是游玩。我充分利用闲暇时间去学习更多的（知识）。举例来说，去年暑假，我就学习游泳。这个暑假，我可能会学习计算机或英语（知识）。暑期过得很快，所以，对于你而言，应该尽可能做更多的事。

My hometown

My hometown is a small beautiful village. It is surrounded by mountains. There is a small river near my home. The water is clear. When I was a little child, I liked playing in the river. My hometown is not so rich. Most of the villagers are farmers. They plant rice, corn and peanut. Now, I live in the city, but I still like going back my hometown.

An Unforgettable Holiday

I am 'always busy with my lessons. What I have to do everyday is nothing but study.

Luckily, last summer my family went to my uncle's farmer. We enjoyed a really interesting holiday. During the holiday, I didn't have to get up early, nor did I need to finish many exercises.

I rode the horse in the fields. I milked the cows on the farm. To my great joy, my uncle invited me to go fishing. Life on the farm is quite different from that at school. I want to go back to spend my summer holiday again.

Everyone has his own dream. Some want to be doctors. Others hope to be scientists. My dream is to become a teacher. Teachers can not teach us many things at school, but they do their best to teach us how to learn. Thanks to them, we learn knowledge. And at the same time, we learn how to live a happy life. They spend most time on their students. They are great in my eyes. I hope to be a teacher because I admire teachers. I know it is not easy to make my dream come true. But I decide to study harder from now on. I am sure my dream will come true.
