3. (3中谚语的汉语意思, 领会并理解, 探讨英语谚语的特点及汉语翻译, 然后教师可以再补充几条谚语让学生学习。学习生词wise, learned, tide。)

(板书并要求wise,理解learned,tide。)

(鼓励学生再说些英语谚语,并让学生在课外搜集英语谚语,互相交流。)

4. (背3中的谚语,看谁背得准又快。)

(给背得又快又准的同学发小奖品,以此激发学习英语的热情。)
